Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Matt and I have to say a million thanks to all of you who have given your suggestions for our Sunday school class. ALL of your tips and ideas were fantastic and have helped us so much! Today was such a success! (We didn't teach last week because I was really sick, and Matt stayed home to take care of me)
At the beginning of class we let the class know that what they did last time we taught was not acceptable, and then set up some class rules TOGETHER as a class, as well as rewards and consequences. The class came up with the rules of
1. 10-15 min. to talk before class starts.
2. No cell phones
3. scriptures EVERY week
We also discussed that our class as a whole gets three strikes in a month, and if they get to that point, they don't get their Reward of treats on the last Sunday of the month. We also decided to do an individual "3 strike rule" Each class member gets 3 strikes a month, and if they exceed that, one of their parents get to join them for class!
We also asked the class for some ideas on how they like to be taught. We got some great feedback and we are FINALLY on the same page as our class, and we can finally get the attention, and respect from them. Thank you everyone soooo much!!!!!
