2 Months

I can not believe that Parker is 2 months old now. Time is a funny thing. It seems like we just brought Parker home, but at the same time, we can't remember what life was like without him, and looking back at his newborn pictures, we are amazed at how tiny he was, and how big he is now! We took Parker to the doctor's today, and he is weighing in at 12.9 pounds and just over 23 inches long. He is definitely growing fast! It is so much fun to see him developing more. He has started sleeping more though the night. We get about 6 hours in between feedings at night, and he is still eating about every 3-5 hours during the day. He is such a good baby. He hardly fusses, eats well, sleeps well, and is such a happy baby! Parker's pediatrician said that if all babies where just like Parker, the world would have more babies! Meaning, that Parker makes parenting look easy. We truly have been blessed with an easy baby, and a cute one too!

This month, Parker has started smiling back at us, and cooing lots. He loves looking in mirrors, and just smiles back, talking to himself. Parker can roll over onto his back, from his tummy, and we are working on rolling back. He is so strong! He can play on his tummy for a long time before he gets tired and fussy, and he loves holding his head up high, with his arms stretched out, lifting him up. Like I said, he is strong! Parker has also picked up a lot of nick names recently. Matt calls him "P-Diddy" (because it's hard to think of things that start with a "P"), I call him "Jonesy" and most recently, he has picked up the nick-name "Parker Pudge Potato Fudge" from my dad.

We have been taking so many pictures of Parker recently because we just got a new camera that we are still trying to learn how to use. So I'm sorry for the picture overload! I couldn't just pick one. He is just so cute! (But we are biased... he is, after all, our son!)
