HELP!
Alright, tonight, Matt and I got ourselves in a bit of a situation. We are asking for third party opinions to help us settle this problem. Without giving names, let me explain our tragedy. Tonight, one of us took their pants off (with their cell phone in the pocket) and put them in the dirty laundry hamper, and the other one of us, picked those pants up and put them in the washer... needless to say, the phone no longer works. Our deal is this.... Whoever is to blame for this problem (determined through your votes) has to use a cheap phone that we will purchase, and the winner (the one not at fault) gets to use a blackberry pearl. So please look deep down into your hearts and help us decide who gets the cheaper of the phones.... We need your help! Please let us know by using the poll to the right of the screen. Thank you!

isn't it standard procedure to check the pants pockets before loading them in the washing machine? thats how i was taught!
Isn't it supposed to be your OWN responsiblity to CHECK your OWN pockets!!!! You are a BIG boy!
And shouldn't it be standard procedure to check your pockets before you throw them in the dirty laundry!?
In soccer, if the defense lets the opposing team by them, should the goalie not even try to save the ball? Sometimes the ball gets past the defense but the goalie needs to do all he can to prevent the goal!
Wow, after those comments, I wonder who left the phone and who did the washing...
I say look to the scriptures and take the Solomon approach--cut the Pearl in half, and you each get some.
On a more serious note, I think that if the clothes are in the hamper, they should be ready to go into the washer. Clothes left out (i.e. not in the hamper) should be checked before being tossed in. Sorry, Matt. :)
It was obvious who left the phone and who washed it. You guys are a crack up! As for my vote... I voted the person who washed it. (Sorry sista!) I learned a long time ago you have to check and double check the pockets before washing. Especially when they're MALE pants. However, Matt... JayDee should still keep the nicer phone. Husbands should always give wives the nicer stuff. Its gentlemanly, and right. :)
Besides, don't you know better than to leave your phone like that when your wife cleans obsessively?
may i just say that i had just gotten home from work, i took off my pants because they were dirty and i put them on top of the basket and no more than 5 minutes later those clothes were in the washer. i didn't even have time to check where my phone was before it was already too late.
Hey, if the washed phone still turns on and you need to get saved data such as contact info off it...my co-worker who handles cell phones for the company has a special tool that can hook up to the "broken" phone and transfer the data to the different phone. I thought I'd offer if that's an option.
