For family home evening last week, Matt and I made a gingerbread train. When we very first started dating, on our second date, we went over to Matt's brothers house, (Brad and JoLynn) and we made a gingerbread house. I remember being VERY nervous to meet a family that Matt talked so highly of! So this year we decided to make it a family tradition to make a gingerbread house/ train every year! While we made our masterpiece, Matt and I watched "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" The version with Jim Carry. Matt had never seen it before, and he loved it! I had a really hard time getting him to help me with the train because we was constantly laughing at the movie. It was fun to watch him enjoy something new, and share with him one of my childhood memories. Matt and I can't wait for the holidays to come! we are so excited!

Nice job on the Gingerbread Christmas Train. It looks so cute!
Mmm... looks yummy! I've never seen a gingerbread train. Good work. ;)
p.s. Are those "Jr. Mints" on the top of the train? Don't you know those are dangerous... Just ask Matt!
"Who's gonna turn down a Junior Mint? It's chocolate, it's peppermint-- it's *delicious*!"
