AmAzInG eXpErIeNcE!!

I have to share this news, but in order to get to the great news, I must start at the beginning of the story. When Matt got his mission call, 3 1/2 years ago, to New Mexico, a family that Heather Jones and her mom knew had just recently moved to New Mexico. The family was not LDS so Matt left for his mission with a piece of paper scribbled on with this families information. The Griffins were one of the first families that Matt started teaching on his mission, and Matt was the first missionary to teach them. Matt has told me some amazing stories of this family, and the love that Matt had for them. After four months of teaching the Griffins, Matt was transferred out of the area. Shortly there after, the family moved back to South Jordan. When Matt came home from his mission, he stayed in contact with the Griffins family, and was able to go to Bro. Griffins baptism. Last weekend, Matt and I had the opportunity to go to the Timp. Temple to see the live sealing of their family for all TIME and ETERNITY. I didn't know the family, but the Spirit was so strong within that room, that I was almost in tears. Just to see those precious children be sealed to their parents was an amazing experience for me, and well as for Matt! I can't even imagine what it must have felt like for him to see this loved family sealed together. All of Matt's hard work paid off, and he was finally able to see the final step to this eternal family. CONGRATULATIONS GRIFFINS FAMILY!

Matt you really did make a difference to the Griffin family! Jonathan had gone through about 9 missionaries over the years before you knocked on their door and something finally stuck with him! You must have been an AmAzInG missionary! Love you guys!! :)
