Towards the end of September we were running low on Parker's diapers and I just decided to start the potty training! That night I gathered all of our supplies and set everything up for a Potty Party the following day. We had balloons, treats, entertainment, Thomas the train sticker chart, and stuffed animals in under-roos too!
Day 1: Parker woke up, and I showed him his new "potty corner" in the bathroom. He was so excited to see all of these things just for him. Afterwards, we gathered up the rest of his diapers and threw them away. The rest of the day we spent in the bathroom playing games, reading books, eating lots of salty treats and drinking lots of juice. By the end of the day, Parker was doing incredible! He only had a few accidents and was well on his way to being completely potty trained.
Day 2: Parker didn't have a single accident!!!
Day 3: Parker had an accident, but was right back on track.
Watching Curious George with his monkey
His progress: So excited about his potty treats!
Once Parker's potty train was all full of stickers we went to the store and Parker picked out a prize.
Parker picked out a little wooden train set. He has really been into trains recently and had a sparkle in his eye when we set it up.
And he has been potty trained ever since!!!
Great job Parker-Pudge!
