Sometimes things break...

Parker was playing with a basket of toys in his room when all of a sudden, his entire closet broke off the wall, and fell. Thank goodness the wire basket that was underneath the closet drawers was there to support the entire closet, and keeping it from crushing my sweet little boy. HUGE blessing indeed.

This happened just days after Matt came home from the hospital, so there was NO WAY he could have helped.

Thanks to Dan and Kira for helping take apart the closet and moving it out, and then placing a dresser inside.  And thanks to my big little brother who is super handy, and helped me install a temporary rod for the kids' clothes.

On a side note, my brother has grown up so much, and while he was helping with the closet, I was nearly in tears watching him. When working with tools, he turns into my dad. The way he works, speaks, specific things that he would say... it tore me apart, but at the same time, it was so incredible to see. It helped me remember those things, and brought a flood of memories back to me. I love that boy, and and so proud of who he is becoming.

Your very sweet words bring tears to my eyes. I miss him so much and times it is hard to breath. It is so good to have my sweet boy to remind me of his dad. I feel him closer to me through him.

siblings are the best! your brother has gotten huge! he looks like a full-fledged teen! what a sweetie.

and are dan and kira back in utah? or were they just visiting? so nice of them to help.
