This last month, Parker cut his two bottom teeth, and he is starting to get his top 4 teeth! Now we can sing "All I want for Christmas are my "four" front teeth" No really... we really want them to come. He has been so ornery the past few weeks, and it has been really hard. Cutting two teeth was hard, but cutting FOUR teeth, is miserable, for all of us. Parker has also learned the army crawl. He has mastered it actually. He CAN crawl, but he chooses not to. He is a lot slower at crawling, so he drops to his tummy and scoots himself around. And boy, are we in trouble! Parker also recently learned to climb. He can now stand up in his crib by himself, and stand up against the couch. He loves that he is more independent. He is into EVERYTHING now. He loves the Christmas tree, and the presents underneath it so much, that he almost toppled everything over, and has almost unwrapped an entire present. He loves every kind of cord that we have within his reach, and he has already pulled out and broken our phone jack. He is a menace, but a cute one! He has to constantly be doing something, and 99.9% of the time, that "something" isn't good. His favorite toys are remotes, cell phones, flashlights, measuring cups and spoons, any kind of bottle (lotion etc.) or container and everything else inappropriate for a baby. We are now wondering if we should take back all of his Christmas toys, and just give him the wrapping paper. :)Parker still loves bath time. He has discovered that his rubber ducky can suck up water, and spit it back out, so Parker will squeeze it with all his might, and watch the water shoot out. He LOVES it. It is so fun to watch him learn things like this, and watch the excitement on his face when he does it. We also learned this month that Parker does NOT like bath bubbles. He is scared of them actually. I thought it would be fun to put bubbles in his bath one day, and he got a very scared look on his face as the bubbles started coming closer to him, and when they started to touch his tummy, he lifted up his arms and started to cry. Poor little guy.
This month, we also gave Parker his 3rd hair cut. His hair was getting down to his eyes, and in our opinion, WAY TOO LONG! So we used a Flowbee. It was so fast and easy! It was easy clean up too, but best of all, it was free! Can't beat that!

You think he's a menace at 8 months?? Just wait until he's 2! ha ha
But its all part of the learning process for him AND you. I'm glad you enjoy being his mommy so much. You're a sweet mother.
He sure looks like his Daddy. That's funny he's afraid of the bubbles and I think it's awesome you used the Flowbee to cut his hair!
