Another First

This last weekend, Matt and I had the opportunity to go to a family reunion for my mom's side of the family. It has always been a tradition to go up to East Canyon and go camping for 3 days. It was Matt's and my first time camping together, and it was definitely an experience having to be the one to plan, and prepare all the meals for a camping trip. I am so used to just packing my pajamas and toothbrush, and having my mom around to do the rest. I now realize how much work and effort goes into it!!! (mom, I don't know how you do it!!) It was fun to pack up our little car full of all our new camping gear that we got from friends and family from the wedding. As I was shuffling through everything, and playing tetris, trying to fit everything in, I realized how truly blessed we are. We had everything that we needed to successfully camp out by ourselves, and it was all because of our friends and family. Thank you everyone!
We ended up having a great time hanging out with family, going swimming, playing games, and just relaxing. It was tiring, but a lot of fun. I think camping is something that Matt and I will do continuously because of the fun that we had! It is a great activity, and it helps build a stronger relationship!

You make me laugh sis!! It's great to see you all grown up and relying on yourself and your sweet husband. Thanks for dinner on Sunday, you did a great job and it sure eased my burden.

Love you bunches

It can be a lot of work to have fun when you're the adult in charge -- but it's all worth it!
